Formed in 1988, Koru Care Otago is a Charitable Trust made up of Otago residents. Koru Care Otago is reliant on help from the community to raise the funds needed to make these dreams come true.
On each trip to Australia, Koru Care Otago provides airfares, accommodation, meals, Theme Park visits, medical care and 24 hour volunteer caregivers for a group of 12 children.
A child's smile can turn any bad day upside down. We are committed to those smiles, changing tomorrow by helping however we can today.
2024 kicked off with bang taking 8 great kids to Auckland. Check out the photos in the gallery. Our young people had a fabulous time on a trip filled with laughter and adventure. Fears were conquered and friendships made.
We are now planning our next trip to the gold coast for later in 2024. Watch out for the application form here on our website or on our Facebook page.
We are pleased to announce that we are off to Auckland at the end of January 2024. 10 lucky youth will have the opportunity to have a holiday of a life time.
